Our Commitment to Sustainability
True luxury must stand the test of time, both in its quality and in how it respects our planet and community.
Centuries-Old Processes, Reimagined for Tomorrow
By preserving traditional hand-knotting methods, we maintain a production cycle that has remained inherently sustainable for thousands of years. We choose hand-carding, hand-spinning, and wooden weaving looms instead of industrial petrochemical tufting.
This choice not only yields a rug with unique human character and high durability, but also helps to prevent microplastic shedding and industrial manufacturing waste.
Our Sustainable Initiatives
Natural Vegetable Dyes
We dye our yarn using locally sourced walnut shells, pomegranate rinds, madder root, and wild indigo—avoiding all heavy toxic chemicals.
Zero Chemical Washing
Our post-loom washing process uses natural spring water and biodegradable organic soaps, returning clean water back to the soil.
Zero Carbon Weaving
Because our rugs are 100% hand-knotted on wooden looms, the production footprint has zero carbon emissions from heavy machinery.
Weaver Well-being
We partner with local healthcare clinics and guarantee fair trade living wages to help weaving communities thrive.
